Duuuuuuuuuuuuudes!
My brain works in a circle! I can knit in the round, on double pointed needles, evenly or unevenly dividing stitches between three or four needles, manipulating them with ease! I can write patterns! I can see designs unfolding, and I can adjust on the go! I can make things in 3D! I can at least make tubes, or tubesque shaped items of interest. Like wrist warmers!
Ch-ch-check it, check it, check it out!

Holy Fucking Awesome Batman!
I call them Lettuce Flower Wristwarmers. I’m not completely happy with the flower on the back of the hand there…

slightly uneven
But I can fix it with one more yarn over and by making it just a bit tighter. I even figured out thumbholes! I am very, very excited, and you can expect to see more of these soon!

Wowee! Good for you! (My scarf is still the rockingest thing you ever made, though.) 😉

Those are awesome and I love the color. You give me hope that I can master thumbholes. I like knitting in the round but sometimes I miss straight needles and the purling motion. I wonder if anyone else does. Maybe I’m weird.

Weeeeeee! You go girlie! Double pointed needles? 3 or 4 needles? Eek. I can barely handle 2 needles…no doubt my mind would fight me if I added more.

Dude, you are gonna be knitting entire outfits soon from head-to-toe! (though I don’t really know how that would look on a person, haha 😉 )

@ Ginny: I’m glad you’re enjoying it, hope it’s warm enough! I thought it was a pretty rad scarf too 😉
@ Teeni: Well these thumbholes are actually just sort of…well, figured out, I guess. I didn’t actually follow any instructions. The second pair I’m working on now has a more pronounced thumbhole, but I think I like my MacGuyvered version better. Stay tuned for improvements!
@ JavaJunkee: Thanks!
@ 2lazydogs: I used four needles! And I totally thought that I’d get all confused and lost with them, but it turns out I was able to click really easily! It’s always worth a try, I say.
@ Romi: Dude, I’m already thinking I can do tank tops or skirts. Time will tell! That and bigger needles…
@ PureEvyl: Thanks, I thought so too 🙂
@ JavaQueen: Thanks, I was very proud of these! Anyone can learn though, I was so surprised at how easy it was.
@ Birdpress: You can do it too! Seriously, I want to run around telling everyone in the world to just try knitting on double pointed needles and find out how much fun it is.
