At least that’s what I call this little number. For any fellow Canucks out there, don’t be deceived by the fuzziness. It’s fuzzy, but it’s narrow, like the cool kids wear these days. Not the frigid kids. Frigid kids want that blue fuzzy thing I posted about recently. This is more for those nights when it’s cool enough that you can get away with wearing a rocking scarf as an accessory, but not yet cold enough that you end up getting frozen snot all over it.
On that pleasant note, what do you think?
If you want to be trendy AND warm, I could probably do up an extra thick and fuzzy one. Twice as much awesome!
Other fun facts:
– I’m watching Josh sleep right now, he’s extra cute.
– My office job is looking shittier and shittier. I want to sit indoors and make fun pretty things and talk to friends on the computer all day, cause I’m not a huge fan of ‘public.’ Does that make me a nerd?
– My evenings and ‘breaks’ revolve around two nightly episodes of the Simpsons.
– I’ve got a totally wicked craving for a fried egg right now. No, I’m not pregnant and craving weird shit. Got that 800 mile distance going on. I think it’s cause I saw a commercial for the Tim Horton’s BELT sandwhich (bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato for nonCanucks), and the egg part is the only thing that interests me. Oh, now I want egg salad. Oh! I will totally make a how-to video on egg salad (Have you tried relish? Have you?)
Stay tuned! Same bat night, same bat channel.

Do you eat eggs? And if so, isn’t that all anti vegetarian? 😐 Just wondering. Being from Arizona, no one wears scarves to be warm, but quite possibly to be trendy. 😉 Very cute. 🙂

I think the scarf is very cool. I love eggs but now I can only eat egg beaters and let me tell you, you can’t make egg salad out of egg beaters.
Well if what you want to do makes you a nerd than I am the biggest nerd around. Which I think is very cool!!! Sorry that your office job is so shitty. I think at this point in my life if I was told I had to work in an office I would cane the person who told me and they wouldn’t like where I put the cane.
Are you watching Josh sleep on your computer or is he visiting or am I being too nosy?

Relish is good, green olives (WITH pimento) are better. Oh. Yeah.

@ Peter: Haha, I do eat eggs. Eggs are vegetarian, since it’s not a dead animal on a plate, but it doesn’t qualify as vegan, which involves no animal products at all. I’m not exactly thrilled with the quality of life chickens get in egg farms, but I do also have to not kill myself via malnutrition. I’m kind of doing a shitty job as it is, for a vegetarian I really hate salad…but I knit, doesn’t that sort of go with the whole vibe?
@ Joan: I wonder if you could make almost-egg-salad with beaters and textured vegetable protein? And I hear you on the office job thing. Part of me has the corporate side going on, as in “I don’t care if you don’t like me, you signed a contract, you MORON. Oh, you were late paying your rent cause your kid was sick? I’d be sympathetic except everyone here has the same excuse, and not all of them have kids. Pay up!” but the other side of me thinks “I really don’t fucking care what direction the pens in the boardroom face. Really.”
And that’s not nosy at all 😛 I was watching Josh sleep on the computer. He can’t visit cause of all the courtroom drama, which is why it’s up to me to move my ass. Because he’s so extra manly during the day it’s extra cute when he’s all curled up and asleep at night, hehehe.
@ Ginny: Okay, I don’t love olives, but clearly you are awesome so I’ll take your word for it 😛

I just remembered, I used to make egg salad out of Mori Nu Tofu. It was a soft creamier tofu and made great pretend egg salad. It was really good. I have to check the weight watcher points on that tofu.
It must be nice to watch Josh sleep. Sweet!!!

Ooooh, I really like that scarf and I also enjoy that it’s narrow, I think I want that one…I don’t have one in that nice multitude of colours…anyhoo I don’t know if I should order through the upcoming site or if I can just umm…meet you ’cause we’re in toronto or whatevs (lol), but let me know about that scarf! 🙂

@ Joan: I’m horrible cooking with tofu, but I really should just bulldoze my way through it until I come up with something good. I’m sure that would make for some hilarious homecooking videos! And yes, it is super awesome watching Josh sleep. He works so hard during the day it’s nice to be able to know for sure that he’s getting some rest. Plus he’s hot 😉
@ Romi: It sounds like it’s the scarf for you! This one is only $20 cause it’s a skinny scarf. I wanted to make something for everyones budget, cause I know what it’s like to see rad stuff and think “$60 for a scarf?!? Awww, I’m poor.” I know you’ve been super busy lately, so why don’t you just hit me up with an email (raspberrykoala@hotmail.com) and I’ll send you a paypal invoice (that way I’ve got a record for sweet sweet tax benefits). And then we can either meet up or I can mail it to you. Let me know! And thank you! 😀

that’s fantastic, I will so email you! I’m a little monkey-brain slow when it comes to paypal…like I have an account, I just have to make sure my credit card is tied to it…anyhoo…I will email you, and soon that scarf will be mine….muahahahaha (I don’t know why that required and evil laugh, but it just did)
🙂

@ Romi: Awesome! And any fab acquisition should be greeted with evil laughter as though wrestled with great effort from the English army. Just like Peter Griffen pretended to be Mel Gibson, but had put on a little weight because he was playing an Englishman who freed England from…the…English. Right.
